For parents

Know that someone trustworthy is close to your child.

When a young person leaves for studies in another country, parents need peace of mind too. I have lived in Switzerland since 2015 and know from my own experience the challenges of studying and starting out in a new country.

What you can expect from me

  • The first call is free

15–20 minutes, no obligation. I learn what concerns you and tell you honestly whether I can help.

  • A clear written offer before any cost

You receive in writing what I do, how, and what it costs. You pay nothing until you accept.

  • Regular updates

I keep you informed about what I have done and what comes next, at the pace we agree together.

  • Discretion

Everything you tell me about yourself and your family stays confidential.

  • Limits stated openly

I do not replace parents, the university or emergency services, I do not mediate employment, and I do not promise what I cannot guarantee.

Along the way

I accompany you from the first idea to your studies in progress.

You do not have to start from the beginning. We join the road wherever you are.

  1. 1

    Before applying

Together we choose the city, the institution and the programme. I compare the options and tell you what each one concretely requires.

  2. 2

    Admission

I organise applications and documents, keep track of deadlines and coordinate the administrative side. The admission decision belongs to the institution.

  3. 3

    Before arrival

We look for housing, arrange informative viewings and prepare the move: furniture, equipment, suppliers.

  4. 4

    The first weeks

I help you settle in: shopping, practical orientation and answers to everyday questions.

  5. 5

    During your studies

I stay close, as agreed: practical assistance, CV and preparation for interviews or internships.

Frequently asked questions

Students and parents: the questions at the start

All frequently asked questions
How can you help students?

I help students with university guidance, organising applications and documents, researching and preparing housing, CV and interview preparation, furniture and equipment, and practical support during their studies, as agreed.

Can I get in touch as a parent?

Yes, you can contact TeAjut.ch as a parent. Parents are welcome to write to me before their son or daughter leaves. We talk about what would be useful, and you send the request yourself as parent or guardian, especially if it concerns a minor.

Can you guarantee admission to a university?

No. TeAjut.ch cannot guarantee admission to a university, because the admission decision always belongs to the institution. I help you choose well, prepare the application and keep to deadlines.

Will you find housing for a student?

For a student I research listings, organise informative viewings and prepare the move. The housing market in Geneva and Vaud is in very high demand, so I cannot guarantee a place at a given price or by a given date.

Will you help me find a job or an internship?

At TeAjut.ch I help with your CV, motivation letter and interview preparation for a job or an internship. I do not act as an employment intermediary and cannot promise a job.

How long does the support last?

TeAjut.ch support lasts as long as we agree. Assistance can continue throughout your studies or stay, after a clear agreement on services, costs and availability. I do not offer permanent supervision and I am not an emergency service.

Tell me where you are on the road to your studies.
